As Business Development Manager , you will play a frontline role in expanding the company’s customer base. This is a pure new-business / hunter position, focused on identifying, engaging and converting new hospitality venues and groups. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will own the end-to-end new-logo sales cycle — from outbound prospecting through to onsite demonstrations, commercial negotiation and deal close. This role is highly client-facing and suits a driven, commercially astute sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment and enjoys building relationships within the hospitality industry. Accounts are transitioned post-sale to a dedicated account management and customer success function, allowing you to stay focused on what you do best: winning new business. You will be responsible for: Proactively sourcing and securing new business opportunities across the hospitality sector (pubs, clubs, hotels, restaurants and multi-site groups) Building and managing a high-quality outbound pipeline through cold calling, referrals, events and targeted campaigns Conducting consultative discovery sessions and delivering tailored product demonstrations and proposals Owning the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, presentation, negotiation and close Consistently achieving and exceeding new-business revenue targets Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting data within the CRM Representing the business at industry events, networking forums and trade shows Collaborating with marketing, onboarding and customer success teams to ensure seamless handover post-sale You will bring to the table: Proven success in new-business / hunter sales within hospitality, technology, SaaS or adjacent sectors Strong understanding of hospitality operations and commercial drivers (POS experience advantageous but not essential) Demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline and close new logos Confidence presenting solutions and negotiating commercial outcomes with venue owners and senior stakeholders CRM discipline and strong sales process orientation High energy, resilience and a results-driven mindset Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills In return, you’ll join a well-established and growing Australian SaaS organisation with a strong reputation in the hospitality market.
